Ninja Creami Low Carb tips.

This device is really cool.  it's basically a concrete grinder for your countertop to grind down a hard frozen  pint of something.    It makes a can of fruit intoa sorbet.  It really is neat.   It's also a darling of the low carb croud as you can make keto ice cream cheaply...  well you are supposed to be able to,  nearly every recipie I find people try to make it expensive with exotic ingredients.

This thing is not that picky or difficult.   I do not know why I need protein powder,  Xanthan gum, Guar gum,  Beaver lips, or the heart of a oompa loompa for these recipes.   It seems as if all these people are trying to over complicate things.  So I am here to debunk all of the bloggers out there.   you dont need their ingredients.

Heavy whipping cream.   This is perfect as it's a creamy good ness and extremely low sugar and carbs.

unsweet almond milk.  Another good lower carb liquid that is not water.

sugar free pudding mixes.   not super low in carbs but you dont need much.  This is for thickening. If you are making sorbets you can use sugar free jello for thickening.

I have used cream cheese as a thickener as well.

Allulose sweetener.   This is the only Exotic one as it acts like suger as an antifreeze lowering the freezing temperature of the ice cream.    This is the one you want,  NOTE:  use less than you think it's not as sweet when you mix it but the sweet kicks it up after it sat for a while.  If you use too much it will be a shake after spinning.   Thats ok if you do,  Spin it,  then use it  as a base to split between two mixes, topping off with cream and more flavor.

Flavors or berries.   unless you like unflavored frozen cream, you needs this stuff.  Instant coffee powder works fantastic to make coffee ice cream.  Torani syrups can be used if you skip the splenda as it's usually sweetened.  a Tablespoon of  baking cocoa makes chocolate ice cream.

Mixing  cream to almond milk 50/50 works great. you can use 100% cream if you want, it has a strange mouth feel though.

I am a fan of frozen fruit and berries.   berries are the most keto. put in a serving and top with the cream and a TSP of the pudding mix. add a tablespoon of splenda. add sugar free flavoring.  blend this well   I use a drink blender that I can clean easily.  then stop blending and taste.  does it have STRONG flavor and sweetness?  then you are perfect for freezing.

That is it.  you do not need ANY exotic ingredients these people try and act like you need.
