Gnome 3; nice try... not really useable.

I have tried to live with Gnome 3 now for a while. and there are some neat features, but it's not a more useable desktop, it's a more "get used to it and work around it's quirks" environment. And many of the quirks are simply productivity killers or are simply there to get in the way.

I applaud them for trying to change the computer GUI. not an easy task with everyone pretty glued to how things have worked, but it needs to be faster, easier and honestly more intuitive.

Gnome 3 is not any of those.
