Apfelwine batch 2 update

I had a bottle explode. Well it shot the cork across the room and emptied it's self on the floor. It seems that I screwed up batch 2. Even letting it sit for 6 weeks and then bottling it through a filter it was still too sweet to not completely stabilize it.

Batch 3 will be treated with wine stabilizer and let set for a week to make sure all the yeast is dead before bottling. I need to crack open one bottle and see what it tastes like. I am hoping it's not a doughboy like batch 1... I really hate the yeast flavor in the apple.
