Trying Fedora Core *AGAIN*

Ok a friend convinced me to try Fedora Core once more. In fact he told me to skip the buggy Fedora Core 6 and to grab the latest snapshot. Ok usually I avoid the Beta buggy stuff but I guess the current state of things makes the recent snapshots the most stable Linux you can get.

I have to say, I am more impressed. It installed flawlessly on my Toughbook and is even doing dynamic processor throttling that fails miserably under windows without the Panasonic patches and updates.

So I'll dual boot into Fedora for a while.. If I can get the crestron and vantage apps to run under wine or crossover office on it then I'll dump Windows completely on my field workstation.

Maybe they are finally pulling it together....
